Clash at the Castle was an absolute spectacle. It featured a war between Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles, with the two stars absolutely tearing the house down against each other. After wild back-and-forth action, the American Nightmare finally did what he said and made the Phenomenal One say, “I quit.”
During the closing sequence of the match, Cody Rhodes brought the ‘Homelander’ in him and went on to decimate AJ Styles. In order to make him quit, Rhodes handcuffed Styles and almost crushed him with steel steps. Although the American Nightmare was victorious against all odds, Solo Sikoa had some other plans for him. The Bloodline member sneaked an attack on the Undisputed Champion after the match.
However, old friend Randy Orton came to the rescue of an exhausted Rhodes. The Viper walked to the stage to save the day as he went on to dismantle the Bloodline alongside Kevin Owens. The duo stood tall after the chaos erupted to kick off the Clash at the Castle.
Moreover, Orton’s eyes were all on the prize, which means he was looking at the Undisputed Championship on Rhodes’ shoulder. It was a subliminal hint towards a possible heel turn in the upcoming weeks. Elsewhere, it was quite a nostalgic moment for the fans in Scotland after a marquee match for the coveted championship.
