Jordan Larson was a part of the high school volleyball team for Logan View High School in Hooper, Nebraska. Her exceptional talent made her a formidable opponent. She was referred to the Super-State first team in her latter three seasons. She also has the major accomplishment of playing for the Nebraska Juniors at the USA Junior Olympic Girls’ Volleyball Championship. Her participation was in 2003, 2004, and 2005. Larson commenced her college volleyball career at the University of Nebraska in 2005. That year, she was dubbed by the American Volleyball Coaches Association Central Region as the Freshman of the Year and the Big 12 Conference Freshman of the Year.
International Career
Jordan Larson started playing for the U.S. women’s national team in 2009. She played and was a starting player for 19 matches in the Pan American Cup, FIVB World Grand Prix, and NORCECA Continental Championship. She has also previously played for Dynamo Kazan.
Larson was a starting player for the seven matches at the 2010 Pan American Cup. Here the USA won the bronze medal and the U.S. also won gold in the FIVB World Grand Prix where she started all 14 matches. She was also on the starting line upfor the 2012 FIVB World Grand Prix preliminary rounds. She won the silver medal with the U.S. in the 2012 London Olympics.
Larson has played with the Russian team Dynamo Kazan and won many FIVB championships with the.
Jordan Larson was a part of the team that took down the Chinese national team in the 2014 World Championship 3-1 and won the gold.
Larson was requested to join in Athletes Unlimited Volleyball USA professional league’s inaugural season and was named MVP and its first-ever awarded volleyball champion.
